Destruction of Mangroves :

Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to bring to notice the destruction of mangrove being done on the Thane Ghodbunder road, just after passing the bridge on the Chena River on the Left hand side while moving towards Thane. A plot of land with mangroves has been dumped with construction debris and now a temporary gated structure has come up. This plot and the adjoining plots have mangroves on them.
So kindly look into the same and do the needful to prevent the destruction of mangroves.Attaching the map of the same.

Respected Sir,
To address complaints regarding Mangrove destruction, Govt. of Maharashtra have appointed Regional Commissioner, Konkan as coordinating officer. Local police stations can also register complaints against destruction of Mangroves.

2. Handbook of Environment, Forest & Wildlife protection laws in India 1989 by Justice Kuldeep Singh)

Inquiry about enviromental clearance for small scale industries :

Respected Sir,
I the under signed wish to know that is it necessary for taking your permission for small scale industries related to manufacturing of dyes and intermediates in co operative industrial estates in Maharashtra
Can I start plant erection after getting consent to establishment from MPCB for built area 400 sq.mtr

Respected Sir,
This is regarding your query about environmental clearance. Environment Clearance procedure is notified by Ministry of Environment & Forest. Activities which require Environment Clearance are specified in the schedule of Notification and as per this Environmental Clearance is required for industry for manufacturing of dyes.

Noise pollution in our Locality

Respected Sir,
I would like to bring to your notice that one person is running fabrication workshop at NIT Layout Trimurti Nagar which is causing Noise Pollution all day and consequently in this area most of the Senior Citizens & school going childrens are getting disturbed. The noise caused by this workshop is so severe that no person can relax at home or no children can concentrate on studies.
I wonder how can such workshop is permited in residential area. This person has also made encroachment on the NIT land by keeping his material on Kranti Maidan.
I on behalf of all the citizens of this area request you to look into the matter and take the appropriate action. All the residents will be very much thankful to you.
